Sean A. Ridout
I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Theory and Modeling of Living Systems Initiative at Emory University. I mainly work with Ilya Nemenman and Priyathama Vellanki, on the physics of machine learning and diabetes.
My work is currently supported by an external project grant from the NSF–Simons National Institute for Theory and Mathematics in Biology. My work has also been supported by the Emory Global Diabetes Research Center.
Previously, I was a graduate student with Andrea Liu, studying whether I could learn more about glasses than a machine. Jury’s still out on that one.
