In Fall 2025, I am co-instructor (with Ilya Nemenman) of a course, “Physical Modeling in Medicine”, based partly on Uri Alon’s Systems Medicine book (and partly on our own work).
In Spring 2023, I was co-instructor (with Michael Martini, Michael Pasek, and Ilya Nemenman) of a course, “Principles of Deep Learning”, based on the book by Roberts, Yaida, and Hanin.
Penn
In 2020–2021, I won the Physics & Astronomy Department’s “Chairman’s Award for Teaching”.
In Spring 2021 and Spring 2020 I was the teaching assistant for Physics 351, Penn’s undergraduate analytical mechanics class.
In Fall 2020 I was the teaching assistant for Physics 661, “Advanced Solid State Theory”. The course was in the spirit of Chaikin & Lubensky.
In Fall 2016–2018, I was the teaching assistant for Physics 611, Penn’s graduate statistical mechanics class.
In Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 I was a lab TA for Physics 150 and 151.
